The Baseball Reliquary presents “The Seeing-Eye
Ball: Inside the Baseball Reliquary,” an
exhibition of artworks and artifacts, at the
Pasadena Central Library, 285 East Walnut
Street, Pasadena, California, from July 3-July
30, 2005.
Artists who will be represented by
one or more baseball-inspired works include
Joseph Cornell, Greg Jezewski, Walter Edwin
Jezewski, Roger Patrick, Ben Sakoguchi, Keith
Ullrich, and Curtis Wright. In addition, all
inductee plaques for the Baseball Reliquary’s
Shrine of the Eternals will be on display. The
plaques honor such baseball luminaries as Jim
Abbott, Dick Allen, Moe Berg, Ila Borders, Jim
Bouton, Roberto Clemente, Dock Ellis, Mark
Fidrych, Curt Flood, William “Dummy” Hoy,
Shoeless Joe Jackson, Bill “Spaceman” Lee,
Marvin Miller, Minnie Minoso, Satchel Paige,
Jimmy Piersall, Pam Postema, and Bill Veeck, Jr.
Pasadena Central Library hours are
Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM;
Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and
Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
